Patients may request to see any of our doctors regardless of who their named GP is.
Requests to change allocated GP are not necessary as all patients have access to all clinicians.
Business Manager - Mrs Janet Fry
Operations Manager - Mrs Helen Allen
Mrs Fry & Mrs Allen are responsible for all aspects of practice business.
We have two secretaries who deal with all referrals by the doctors, requests for home visits, requests for medical reports and supplying invoices for non-NHS work.
Our reception supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the reception and are available for advice. We have a team of reception staff and care navigators who deal with requests for surgery appointments, home visit requests, issue of repeat prescriptions and general day-to-day enquiries.
Health Promotion Nurses
The practice's nursing sisters provide specialist advice and reviews on the management of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, control of diabetes, lifestyle advice, well person clinics, cervical smears, hypertension, cholesterol and initial travel advice.
All requests for urgent appointments will be passed to the triage sister who will return your call and determine the best course of action - either advice, an appointment with the nurse or duty doctor.
Treatment Room Nurse
Our practice nurses provide immunisations and injections (including travel immunisations), ear syringing, removal of stitches, dressings and other referrals from the GPs.
Our two healthcare assistants support the nurses in their clinical duties, enabling them to concentrate on their specialist roles. Appointments are available for blood pressure monitoring, measuring of height and weight and new patient health checks.
In addition to the above, the practice has access to a number of other healthcare professionals. Details here.
